Distinguished Members of the Turkish Community in the United Kingdom,
I have assumed the office of the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in London as of 15 February 2017. At the outset, let me express the honour I have for being appointed to this post.
We are proud to see the one quarter of a million or so Turkish citizens living here continuously enhancing their social status and thus creating a bridge between Turkey and the United Kingdom. I am confident that this trend will continue.
Our Consulate General is your gateway to home, and this gateway is and will remain open to you at all times. Let me explain what I mean by this: We not only aim to provide consular services like civic registration or notary issues in an accurate, efficient and speedy manner. We also want to share your happiness and concerns, and when necessary, solve your problems together as much as we can. You are definitely not a name on a piece of paper to us. To the contrary, you are our countrymen striving to make a living in this country in a wide variety of areas ranging from banking to art, academics to private enterprises.
Your suggestions will guide us in our efforts to that end. Your recommendations and experience will enable us to provide our citizens in similar situations with better service.
To ensure continuous contact with the Consulate General, please browse our Facebook and Twitter pages at frequent intervals.
